From the heart of the Kerinci Highlands in Sumatra, this wet‑hulled (giling basah) lot channels the island’s signature intensity in every sip. Grown on steep volcanic slopes under dense tropical shade, the cherries are hulled while still moist—a technique that accentuates body and deep, earthy character. The cup leans into dark cocoa, forest herbs, incense, dried fruit, and undertones of tobacco. It’s rich without becoming heavy, ideal for those who love classic Indonesian coffee with clarity and balance.
