What's left is the fruit that was in the seed all along, and in this lot that fruit is apple. Gold Mountain's own cupping notes just say APPLE in capital letters, which is about right. Crisp apple up front, ripe yellow peach behind it, and a honey sweetness that coats everything and lingers.
