High in the western highlands of Guatemala, tucked against the Mexican border, sits Huehuetenango, a name that comes from an ancient word for "place of the ancients." It's rugged, high country where dry mountain winds and sheltered valleys give washed coffees a bright, clean sweetness. Our Gran Quetzal is a regional select, brought together from the careful work of smallholder farmers who deliver ripe cherry to their local mill throughout the harvest. The result is a cup that's easygoing but full of character: warm caramel and brown sugar, a soft nuttiness, and a lift of lemon that keeps everything bright. Named for the brilliant highland bird that soars over these mountains, it's a dependable, everyday coffee with just enough spark to keep things interesting.
Great roast
I love the subtle chocolate flavor.
Has that morning aroma you want first thing in the day. Get s rid of the foggies and clears the head. You just can't go wrong with this dark full flavor first thing in your morning.
Honduras will always be my #1 but Guatemala is a close delicious 2nd place!
I like Guatemala coffee roast alot !!!! It comes across as smooth and
warm tones of that taste one looks for in the morning. I roatate it with
Sulaweisi and Java.
