Hailing from the Assefa Dukale Wakayo Co-op; a family-owned coffee business with over 23 years of experience, operating 13 washing stations in the Shendawa kebele, Bensa zone of the Sidama region at an altitude of 2180 meters. Collaborating with 450 farmers who primarily use organic practices, they produce an average of 209,015.3 kilograms of coffee annually. Their offerings include anaerobic natural, red honey (semi-washed), and washed coffees, all traceable and of high quality. This offering is the 30th Cup of Excellence winner from 2021.
In the cup, expect a harmonious blend of berry and citrus notes, complemented by a smooth body and a lingering, sweet finish. The 96 hour Anaerobic processing method enhances the coffee's inherent fruitiness resulting in a vibrant and aromatic experience.
